Opportunities to serve - The following ministry areas are a vital part of Harbor Downtown. Please prayerfully consider volunteering for a 3-month period.
SUNDAY OPERATIONS
The Ops team helps to create an environment conducive to worship and fellowship for Harbor Downtown. Its responsibilities include setup and breakdown of Harbor signs and materials before and after each service, as well as monitoring the church entrances throughout the service to welcome any latecomers and to provide security. CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
The Children’s Ministry team provides a safe, secure and nurturing environment for infants through age 12 during church service. Spiritual growth is provided for the children by teaching them about God’s love through Christ and by encouraging the children and their families to “Live out the Gospel.” Please contact Tina Ramsey at 1ram2ewes@cox.net or 619.660.6076
CARE & PRAYER
The Care Ministry provides a Prayer Team and coordinates with Community Groups and volunteers to encourage, advise and assist if possible, those within the church family who have social, emotional, physical, financial, or spiritual needs. Opportunities to serve include providing meals, transportation, Biblical encouragement, visits in hospitals, and tasks like helping people move. Contact Mel Ely at or phone 619-224-5402.
REFRESHMENTS
The Refresment Team helps build community by providing refreshments and a welcoming environment where folks can gather after the service in the theater lobby. Responsibilities include supplying and serving refreshments and clean up. Contact Sandie Maliepaard at 619.546.6834.

WORSHIP
The Worship Team uses music to facilitate worship at our Sunday services. Possibilities for involvement include playing an instrument, singing, helping with the overhead or sound and helping set-up and clean-up equipment. Contact Gerard Nolan at
